In 2017, a fish farmer from South Africa contacted us for a small floating fish feed production solution for his own aquaculture farm.
Because his production demand was relatively small, he needed a small floating fish feed production line with low investment, simple operation, and stable performance.
Based on his requirements, we supplied a DGP-70 floating fish feed extruder production line with mixing and conveying equipment to achieve a production capacity of 150-300kg/h.
Production Process
1. Raw Material Mixing
The customer used powder-form raw ingredients like fish meal, soybean meal, and corn meal. So, no grinding process was required.
2. Conveying
The LS-1.5 screw conveyor automatically transfers mixed materials into the extruder.
3. Extrusion
The DGP-70 floating fish feed extruder machine produces floating fish pellets with adjustable sizes according to customer requirements.

The DGP-70 floating fish feed production line provided the customer with a compact solution for producing floating fish feed directly on his own fish farm. The complete system helped the customer produce floating fish pellets with different sizes while maintaining simple operation and low investment.
After the equipment arrived in South Africa, we provided installation guidance to help the customer complete the setup. The DGP-70 extruder was tested after installation and produced floating fish feed pellets with the required sizes.
